Case Management Studio
The Case Management Studio (CMS) at Dallas College is a world-class training center for case managers, success coaches, care navigators and other professionals who help individuals access the social services and other resources they need to succeed. It will train participants on the foundational pillars of case management, social services, support navigation and success coaching.
Initially, the CMS will support the professional development of Dallas College’s success coaches, case managers and others in our Student Care Network who support our students on their path to success. With a staff of caring adults trained in the latest student support techniques, we can ensure that every student at Dallas College succeeds.
Longer term, the CMS will be available to any individuals, locally or nationally, who want to become certified in the basics of case management and care navigation so that they can pursue a career in this field. We also expect local and national organizations that rely heavily on case managers, coaches and navigators to send their employees to the CMS to learn best practices and develop a network that connects them to others in their field.
Construction Sciences
Construction Sciences Building spans 97,000-square-feet, this state-of-the-art LEED Silver building was made possible in partnership and collaboration with the Construction Education Foundation (CEF). Dallas College and its partners train apprentices and craft professionals in construction trades as well as field engineers, supervisors and construction managers. Purpose-built, interactive, high-tech classrooms with adjacent laboratories for teaching demonstrations and active learning support the high-quality instruction. Covered exterior lab space allows for outdoor equipment use, mock-ups and assembly installations in various conditions and temperatures, as well as materials storage.
Culinary, Pastry & Hospitality
Dallas College is the #1 producer of Culinary, Pastry and Hospitality talent in North Texas.
With the rising demand for candidates in the food and hospitality industry in Dallas County, Dallas College is prepared to meet local demand for not only chefs, but also restaurant designers, food stylists, dietitians, food salespeople and food media specialists. Through classroom instruction, hands-on participation and work-study classes for three different food service careers, The Culinary, Pastry, and Hospitality program (CPH) provides students with a robust, experiential learning experience unlike any other.
CPH program partners with a multitude of industry organizations and employers to connect students to their future careers. Partnering with organizations such as Gordon Ramsay North America, Master Chef Richard Rosendale, World Food Championships and Texas Restaurant Association, which is co-located at the Dallas College Culinary, Pastry and Hospitality Center, students are exposed to a wide variety of career opportunities and connections in the culinary and hospitality industry.

School of Education
Research shows that high-quality, full-day pre-K programs have significant, positive effects on school readiness, academic achievement, and high school completion rates. Still, more than 39,000 eligible children in Dallas County are not enrolled in Pre-k. The primary issue is that there aren’t enough qualified teachers to expand program offerings in North Texas.
To mitigate this issue, Dallas College has expanded its early childhood education program to make high-quality, affordable education available to those who want to serve in our local school districts. By doing so, Dallas College is set to aid in the teacher shortage with the first cohort of students enrolled in the Bachelor of Applied Science in Early Childhood Education and Teaching (B.A.S. ECE) entering the workforce in 2023, as early childhood educators, or as public school teachers.
With key support, Dallas College School of Education (SOE) is poised to become a leading incubator for exceptional teachers who will prepare future generations of students for a journey of lifelong learning.
In the Fall, SOE hosts an annual symposium which brings together early childhood thought leaders and partners.
