Debbie Taylor
Debbie Taylor, recently retired from a 19-year career at Citigroup, is active in community leadership and non-profit board governance. While at Citi, she was the Director of U.S. Markets for Citi Community Development, responsible for delivering on Citi’s commitment to financial inclusion and economic empowerment for the underserved.
Working with the various businesses and Citi Foundation to meet regulatory obligations of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) across the country, Debbie also led the Citi Innovation and Impact Initiative, a fund that helps develop innovative solutions to key issues in communities served by Citi.
Mrs. Taylor is currently serving as Chair of the Dallas College Foundation Board. Other boards she currently serves on include the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Foundation Board and the Board of the International Women’s Forum of Dallas. She has served as past Chair of the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Board, as well as the 2007 United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Campaign Chair.
Debbie was honored with the 2011 J. Erik Jonsson Award, the highest volunteer award given by the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and in 2013, the Dallas Business Journal’s Outstanding Directors. She was honored with the first ever Corporate Social Responsibility Executive of the Year in 2010 by the Center for Nonprofit Management. Other honors include Dallas Business Journal’s Most Influential Women in Business award, the Ebby Halliday Rose of Distinction award, and the Junior League of Dallas Sustainer of the Year.
Debbie holds a Master of Public Administration from Texas State University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin.
