Dr. Pyeper Wilkins joined the DCCCD Foundation in 2014, with an extensive background in resource development, planning, facilitation and building partnerships. With over 25 years of experience in community colleges, she is skilled at collaborating with business and industry, public agencies, and community and faith-based organizations to meet the needs of students and the community.

Pyeper spent eight years at El Centro in a variety of roles, including executive dean of the Bill Priest Campus and associate vice president of planning, research and institutional effectiveness. In those roles, she secured over $30 million in funding to support student success, workforce and economic development, the launch of new programs and curriculum, and facility renovation.

Pyeper received her Bachelor of Business Education degree from West Texas State University; her Master of Science degree in Human Relations and Business from Amberton University; and her doctorate in educational leadership and management from Capella University.

Pyeper is a native Texan. Born in Pampa, she currently resides in Royse City with her husband, Greg. They enjoy traveling, cooking, hiking and spending time with their daughter and son-in-law.
